from head to heart - reflections

In a world where most people react automatically—from fear, control, tension and unconscious beliefs—releasing emotions is one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself and your life.
Huna is an ancient knowledge from Hawaii that describes how energy, consciousness and intention influence our lives. At ZenZen, we often return to its principles because they are extremely simple... and at the same time change everything.
The ego is the voice that says: "This is good, this is bad. I want this, I don't want this. It hurts me, so I have to put it aside." It is the part of us that constantly compares, evaluates, analyzes and fights. It is dual by nature - it needs divisions to exist. Without "I" and "you", without "better" and "worse", without "I want" and "I don't want" - the ego loses ground under its feet.
A person wakes up only when he begins to see that everything he feels, thinks and experiences comes from inside him. Not from the outside. Not from other people's behavior. Not because of the circumstances. But from his own thoughts, emotions and beliefs, from his interpretations, from the energy he brings to every moment.
Emotions are a natural part of our experience. They appear, flow and disappear – if we let them. However, most of us have learned quite the opposite: to suppress our emotions, repress them, or analyze them endlessly. As a result, emotions accumulate in the body and mind, creating tension, anxiety and a feeling of being stuck.
Dr. David R. Hawkins, in his "Release Technique", described an extremely simple but deeply transformative process that allows you to regain inner peace and lightness.
In David R. Hawkins' view, disease is not the enemy. Nor is it a punishment, an accident, or a mistake of the body. It is a signal – a delicate and sometimes very loud call for attention. The body communicates what we can no longer suppress in our minds and hearts. Hawkins wrote that emotions are energy, and when we stop them - suppress anger, grief, fear, guilt - this energy becomes trapped in the body. Then the body begins to "speak" the language of tension, pain or illness. Not to punish us, but to wake us up.
What we think is "reality" is not objective. It is merely our version of reality, created by the thoughts, beliefs and emotions that we carry within us. Each person lives in a completely different world - even though we seemingly share the same planet. One person experiences life as a field of possibility, love and abundance. Other - as an endless struggle, lack and threat. And yet the same Sun shines over us all.
